Boat Hull Engineering Activity
Problem: Using only a block of polystyrene, students will design a boat hull that will carry a 100 gram weight across a water trough. The boat will be pulled by a falling 20 gram weight through a series of pulleys, and be timed to see whose boat has the least amount of drag.
