8th Grade Technology Class Expectations
- Get drinks and go to the restroom between classes BEFORE entering the room. Once you enter the room a pass willl have to be used.
- Tardies - Don't be! You will be counted tardy 5 minutes after you were dismissed from the previous class.
- Class Materials - paper, pencil and agenda book should be brought to class everyday.
- No toys, gum, candy, or drinks allowed.
- Assignments: All tests, quizzes, homework, and worksheets to be graded are to be turned in to the RED "papers to be graded" box.
- End of class: You will not be dismissed until clean-up is completed and everyone is seated.
- If Mr. Hunt is absent, you are to do the work assigned. If the substitute teacher leaves a note with your name because of problems, the minimum penalty will be a detention .
- FIRE DRILL: Exit parking lot doors and go to the grassy area under the big tree.
- TORNADO DRILL: Go to the girls restrooms across from the library.
- Clean-up jobs will be assigned for each project/activity. This is part of your overall grade for the project/activity, please help do you part in cleaning up each day.
- Daily Work is also part of the project/activity grade. This is a participation grade, if you do what you’re supposed to be doing, you’ll be fine.
- Safety is VERY important in the shop. This is also part of your project/activity grade. If you consistently abuse the rules, you may be banned from using the tools or be banned from the class.
